
Falls Township police are asking for assistance from the public following an attempted retail theft at a local food store.

The alleged attempted retail theft occurred at the Giant Food Store on South Oxford Valley Road on Monday at approximately 6:15 p.m.
Police said the suspect attempted to take multiple items of merchandise. The total was valued at over $400.
Authorities have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The suspect is described by police as a light-skinned male in his early twenties and sporting short black curly hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts, and was observed with tattoos on his right forearm and bicep.

After the attempted theft, the suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a silver Mercedes Benz sedan.
