After repaving work along I-295 in Bristol Township and Middletown Township last week, PennDOT crews warned this week that delays could be caused by line painting operations.

PennDOT said a single lane closures are scheduled along eastbound and westbound I-295 between the Bristol and Penndel/Levittown interchanges Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The line striping work will take place on the freshly-repaved highway. The paving work was carried out following renovations to the bridge deck passing over the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Drivers have been advised to give extra time when traveling through work zones because backups and delays will occur.

The work is weather dependent.
The work is part of a regional project that will improve roads and bridges in Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware counties. The federal government is fully funding the regional $44.6 million slate of work being carried out by Philadelphia-based Driscoll Construction Company Inc.
