Motorcyclist Badly Hurt In Lincoln Highway Crash, But Is Expected To Survive

A motorcyclist remains hospitalized after a serious crash along Lincoln Highway.

The crash happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Pennsylvania Avenue in Falls Township.

Police said the collision involved a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 2011 Nissan Sentra in the southbound lanes of Lincoln Highway.

The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old man from Levittown, was thrown from his motorcycle in the crash. He sustained serious injuries, but he is expected to survive, police said.

The 18-year-old man was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

The 22-year-old Levittown woman driving the Nissan Sentra was unhurt.

Police said the woman has been cooperating with the investigation.

“No alcohol or drugs are suspected to have contributed to the crash,” police said.

The motorcycle flew into the Fairless Motors car dealership, damaging several vehicles, police said.

Lincoln Highway southbound was closed for several hours while police investigated.
