PennDOT has begun work to repave a state road in Middletown Township.

Crews began work Monday on Old Lincoln Highway between Maple Avenue (Route 213) and the southbound Route 1 on ramp.
PennDOT officials said a lane closure with flaggers directing traffic will take place from this week through Friday, April 28 on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Old Lincoln Highway for the milling and paving project.
Drivers have been asked to give extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns could happen.

The milling and paving work is weather dependent.
The Old Lincoln Highway project is one of several planned this year in Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, according to PennDOT. The Philadelphia region is expected to have more than 200 miles of state roads repaved this year.
