The plant of the Thomas L. Leedom Company, at that time will reopen for a period of six weeks providing there are sufficient weavers ready to start on a 54-hour schedule.
In an official notice made public today, the Leedom Company states as follows.
“If there is a sufficient body of weavers and workers ready to start to work Monday, January 31, 1921, on a 54-hour schedule, the firm of Thomas L. Leedom Co., will be willing to start the mills on full-time for a period of six weeks, but as we have a limited number only of special orders on the books, we would not feel justified in offering work for a longer period.”

“Employees may call at the Mill any time during the coming week and get their wage scale.”
The Leedom firm engages in the manufacture of carpet and rugs and the plant has been closed since about the middle of November.
