Firefighters from the station aided the driver, who was trapped in the Nissan sedan, while the deputy chief radioed the crash into county dispatchers around 8:10 p.m., officials said.

Firefighters grabbed gear and began working to free the trapped driver. The Union Fire Company and Cornwells Fire Company from Bensalem Township responded and assisted Croydon Fire Company members, the statement said.
