
A suspected DUI driver was arrested after striking a disabled vehicle along the side of I-295.

Pennsylvania State Police were called Sunday around 11:45 p.m. for a report of a crash on I-295 westbound in Middletown Township.
Troopers said they determined a vehicle disabled on the shoulder was struck by another vehicle.
A 44-year-old Trenton man was behind the wheel of his vehicle when it traveled off the highway and hit the disabled vehicle in the rear, state police said.

The disabled vehicle struck by the Trenton man was owned by a 19-year-old man from Silverhill, Alabama.
No injuries were reported and the extent of the damage was not released.

Troopers said they found the 44-year-old Trenton man, whose name was not released, showed signs of being impaired and was arrested for suspicion of DUI from alcohol or drugs. Suspected drugs were located during the arrest.
State police said the investigation into the incident continues.
