
A two-vehicle crash on Route 13 Sunday evening sent several people to the hospital.

The crash happened at 7:18 p.m. at the intersection of Route 13 and Levittown Parkway in Tullytown Borough. Both vehicles suffered front-end damage, one ending up in the middle of the intersection and the other just off the roadway.
Tullytown Borough police Sgt. Andrew Bunda said the crash remained under investigation.
The one vehicle had three kids and two moms in it, with all being taken to local hospitals. One child had a broken leg and one of the moms had a head injury, Bunda said.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injures.
The call came in stating people needed to be extricated from the vehicle, but bystanders had already helped removed the people in the vehicles by the time Bunda arrived.

The Tullytown Fire Company and several ambulance squads responded to the scene.
The crash occurred as the St. Mike’s Fair was happening a few dozen yards away.

Shortly after the crash, an unrelated wreck occurred on Levittown Parkway on the Bristol Township and Falls Township border near Mill Creek Parkway.
