Hereโ€™s how the district describes it:

This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œPromi-Con,โ€ is Pennsburyโ€™s playful spin on Comic-Con, highlighting popular culture, movies, and television shows with dedicated fandoms. The hand-crafted decorations feature impressive 3-D imagery, including an animatronic Ice Dragon from the blockbuster HBO show Game of Thrones. Decorations in other portions of the building will pay homage to reality television, Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Dr. Seuss, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and more. Pennsbury is also adding a Quiet Room to the prom this year to give attendees a peaceful place to relax and take a break from all of the excitement. Additionally, there will be a wall dedicated to Mr. Jim Cunningham, aka โ€œMr. Prom.โ€ Cunningham taught at Pennsbury High School for 33 years and is credited with creating the schoolโ€™s senior prom in 1971.

The public festivities for โ€œPromi-Conโ€ย start at noon with aย public walk-throughย of the amazing decorations. The district notes the walk-through will end promptly at 3ย p.m.

From the school district:

The access road that connects PHS West to PHS East on the high school campus in Fairless Hills serves as the perfect parade route for the country’s most unusual and creative forms of prom transportation. The closest intersections are Olds Blvd South & Queen Anne Drive (Fairless Hills) or Hood Boulevard & New Falls Road (Fairless Hills). Spectators line the access road on campus and cheer the prom-goers as they approach the red carpet at the entrance to PHS East. What have the students been planning all year? You never know until you witness their creativity first-hand!ย
