Trash Truck Catches Fire In Falls Twp.

A trash truck caught fire Thursday afternoon in Falls Township.

The Falls Township Fire Company responded to Tyburn Road in the area of Route 13 just past 4 p.m. for the report of a truck fire.

Crews arrived to find the trash truck ablaze and went to work putting it out, Falls Township Fire Company Chief Andy Hilbert said.

No injuries were reported.

The fire marshal didn’t have a cause for the start of the vehicle blaze.

A passerby said the truck was removed from the area after firefighters put out the flames.
