Multiple towns and Bucks County government are teaming up to bring back an Earth Day event.

The event will be held at Core Creek Park at the pavilion by the dog park Saturday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festivities are in commemoration of Earth Day.
Local environmental groups, parks departments, and local businesses will be onsite for the event and demonstrating eco-friendly practices. There will also be live entertainment, games, a food truck, the Magical Mr. Kazoo and his balloon sculptures, and an inflatable slide.
The Middletown Township Environmental Advisory Council will be giving away free trees.

The event is put on by the Bucks County, Falls Township, Middletown Township, Newtown Township, Northampton Township, and Upper Makefield Township parks and recreation departments.
The multi-town event has taken place for several years, with a pause for COVID-19.

Middletown Township Parks and Recreation Director Paul Kopera and his staff were recognized by the Bucks County Commissioners Wednesday for their role in organizing the event and other events.
