Lower Bucks County took in 2 to 4 inches of rain over the past two to three days, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the Neshaminy Creek in Middletown Township through Friday.

The creek swelled Thursday and spilled its banks at Playwicki Park on Friday morning.

A gauge at the park showed the creek at 7.4 feet by Friday morning, with the water level to be higher-than-normal but it will fall through the weekend.

“Turn around … don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles,” forecasters said.
