Epifano Riberas was arrested in early March after an investigation by Bucks County Rangers and Penndel Borough police, authorities said.
Riberas is a mandated lifetime reporter under Megan’s Law stemming from 2002 convictions on charges of rape and incest.
Rangers sought the help of borough police as they were attempting to verify Riberas’ address for an upcoming trial on an unrelated offense.

Law enforcement attempted to find Riberas’ address in Penndel Borough, but it was determined it did not exist, police said.
The 65-year-old man was found living in Bensalem Township, which is not where he reported living.
“He gave statements that indicated that he lived in Penndel and even showed officers on a map where he lived. The address of that house was not the address that Pennsylvania State Police had on file. A check of tax and property records for Penndel also indicated that the address was false,” police said.

Riberas was charged with failure to provide accurate registration information and failure to register with state police. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing recently before District Judge Daniel Baranoski and will head to trial.
Riberas is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
