Mill Creek Elementary School Principal Dr. Sharon Vitella said in a note to parents she wished to clear up what happened.

“Today, a student jabbed a teacher with a pencil. No skin was broken or blood was drawn. The teacher was seen by the school’s nurse’s office as a precaution as well,” she wrote.
