A weekend crash was caused by an intoxicated driver, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
On Saturday around 12:06 p.m., troopers were called to I-295 eastbound near the Woodbourne Road overpass for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Troopers said they arrived to find the driver of a 2007 Jeep – a 32-year-old Pennsauken, New Jersey man – unresponsive in the driver’s seat.
The driver was taken to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment and was unconsciousness, state police said.
The driver and passengers in the second vehicle that was involved in the crash were unhurt, state police said.

Troopers said the New Jersey man regained consciousness at the hospital and briefly spoke to them. They stated it was determined the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
Troopers continued their investigation.
