A person was struck and killed by a SEPTA train in Middletown Township Friday evening.
The strike happened at 8:03 p.m. on the West Trenton Line at the Langhorne Train Station, which sits in Middletown Township between Penndel Borough and Langhorne Manor Borough.

Township and transit police were on the scene, along with fire crews and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
Detective Lt. Steve Forman said a 9-1-1 caller reported the man intentionally stepped in front of the train.
“A tentative ID was established at the scene. Police are working with the coroner’s office on confirmation and notification of next of kin,” he said.

Middletown Township police, SEPTA police, and the coroner’s office continue to investigate the death.
