Police are looking to get to the bottom of a series of shooting calls in the Fallsington section of Falls Township.
The most recent incident happened last Thursday. Officers responding to a shots fired call found an expended cartridge on Main Street in the area of Meetinghouse Square, police Chief Nelson Whitney said.

There have been multiple similar calls of shots fired across the Fallsington section recently, Whitney said.
“No hits, but reports of gunshots and then a cartridge, so somebody is shooting a gun in the air,” the chief said.
Residents who hear gunshots are asked to call police so they can investigate.

“We’ve stepped up our patrols in the evening to try to find who is doing this,” Whitney said.
