A man was hosptaizlied after a vehicle caught fire inside a car wash in Falls Township.
Firefighters rushed to Quality Car Wash on Trenton Road near the intersection with Bristol-Oxford Valley Road around 11:30 p.m. Crews arrived to find a vehicle ablaze in the automated wash bay.

“Something happened to the car and it caught fire inside the bay with the driver still in it,” said Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito.
As the flames were put down, the driver was pulled from the burnt vehicle. He was suffering cardiac arrest but had no burns, the fire marshal said.
The man’s condition was not immediately available late Saturday morning.

Dippolito said he is investigating the incident, but the driver may have had a medical condition leading up to the fire.
“There are no signs of criminal activity,” he said.

The Edgely, Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Langhorne-Middletown, Levittown No. 1, Levittown No. 2, Penndel, and William Penn fire companies responded to the scene along with police and medics.
