A Morrisville Borough man is facing down 36 charges after he was accused of a dangerous series of incidents.

Pennsylvania State Police said they responded on Wednesday, September 16 around 6 p.m. to the Calhoun Street Toll-Supported Bridge in Morrisville Borough for a driver who threw a milkshake into another vehicle. A trooper pulled surveillance video from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission and identified the suspect vehicle was registered to an address in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

The Bristol Township woman who owned the vehicle, a black Acura MDX, advised a trooper that her boyfriend – Nathaniel Lumon Stewart, 30 – was operating the car and would be in contact, state police wrote in court papers.

Troopers said that Stewart was connected to five incidents in the area of the bridge that links Bucks County to Trenton.

Several incidents involved an unknown liquid being sprayed at drivers through open windows and one involved a milkshake being thrown into a car, state police said.

“All five victims expressed how distraught and scared they were due to the COVID-19 virus. Every victim expressed the damaged caused to their vehicles and clothing. In addition, they were afraid of causing an accident due to the liquid being sprayed into their face while they were driving,” a trooper wrote in court papers.

Stewart and his attorney met with troopers at the state police barracks in Bensalem last month.

Stewart, according to court papers, explained that he was heading to his father’s home in New Jersey when he threw ice cream out of his vehicle and hit another driver. He got to his dad’s home and found he wasn’t home. He returned to Bucks County and found his mother wasn’t home. He then began to drive in circles until his parents came home. While driving back and forth between the Keystone State and the Garden State, he was crossing the bridge. He admitted to using a water gun to spray other drivers.

Troopers said Stewart told them he was “getting an adrenaline rush” as he impacted the other drivers. He told law enforcement he is supposed to be taking medication but has not been, causing him to “act in a certain way.”

Stewart reportedly told troopers he was acting like a child and took full responsibility while showing remorse.

Stewart was charged with multiple counts of propelling a missile into occupied vehicles, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, harassment, and related offenses. The defendant was arraigned by District Judge John Kelly earlier this week and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
