UPDATED: Woman In Critical Condition After SUV Hits House

Bristol Township emergency crews were called to the one-vehicle crash in the 5900 block of Bristol-Emilie Road near the Wawa in Levittown at 2:59 a.m. Saturday.

“A blue 2016 Honda Pilot was traveling northeast on Emilie Road when the crash occurred. The vehicle left the roadway, struck the house at 5939 Emilie Road and came to rest on its roof striking three other unoccupied vehicles parked nearby. The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash,” police said.

The SUV was driven by a 29-year-old Levittown woman who was rushed from the scene by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.

As of 8 a.m., the woman ejected from the SUV during the crash remained in the hospital in critical but stable condition, according to Lt. Ralph Johnson.

The residents of the home were not injured.

The Levittown No. 2, Edgely, and Newportville fire companies responded along with fire police.

The crash is the third serious one on Bristol-Emilie Road this month. One crash left two people ejected and the other damaged a shopping center.

A woman was transported to the hospital after her SUV crashed into a home in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of Bristol-Emilie Road near the Wawa when the SUV left the roadway and smashed through the front of a home, according to a post from Levittown Fire Company No. 2.

After hitting the home, the SUV ended up flying over a flatbed tow truck and and rolling over, ejected the female driver, the fire company said.

The woman was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The residents of the home were unhurt.

The home was inspected for structural damage by fire marshal.
