The Bristol Township School District doesn’t have a final date set for a return to in-person classes.
The staff furloughed were cafeteria workers, hall monitors, security officers, lunch monitors, custodians, nurses, and van and bus drivers, according to a district document.
At their Monday evening meeting, the school board voted unanimously to approve the furloughs “as a result of reduction in staff due to virtual learning of students.”
