Bucks Countians will have their chance to see the peak of the Perseids meteor shower this week.

Sky watchers will be able to see the meteor shower’s stunning display streaking overhead all this week, but late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning is considered the peak, according to NASA.

The Perseids shower happens each summer as Earth passes the debris field left behind by the comet Swift-Tuttle.

The stunning meteor shower can be easily seen in all directions. Sky watchers will only need their eyes – no binoculars or telescopes required. People should give their eyes about 30 minutes to adjust to the dark and head away from bright lights to see the display.
