Law enforcement sources have confirmed that the FBI is leading a charge to look into matters with ties to local governments and school districts in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Last summer, the Bucks County Detectives were involved and state police more recently.
Those with knowledge of questions asked by law enforcement in Bucks County largely relayed a similar list of topics that were brought up. In some instances, those asked by special agents were surprised by the amount of information the investigators already knew. In one case, an internal investigation carried out by Pennsbury and not made public previously was shown to a person being interviewed.
Due to the sensitive nature of the matter, those who spoke to this news organization have requested anonymity. This news organization has reviewed contacts between some of those questioned and federal authorities.

The FBI said they don’t comment or confirm or deny whether investigations exist. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office also declined to comment. As of Monday, no one has been charged or indicted and there is no solid indication on whether the investigation will lead to charges.
The FBI’s curiosity in the area has been rumored for several years, but details have been slim until the past year. Drips of information have leaked out dating back to 2017, but things seemed to have ramped up over the past year.
