Apartments Damaged When Gunman Opens Fire

Several apartments were damaged after a late Wednesday night shooting.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. at the Foxwood Manor Apartments between Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Durham Road in Middletown Township.

Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla said one suspect targeting several rounds at an apartment but ended up striking four units, causing “quite a bit of damage.”

No injuries were reported.

The shooting shattered windows and damaged doors at building 13. Officers and detectives remained on scene from late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The shooting suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, Bartorilla said.
