The Philadelphia Flyers are bringing a traveling pep rally to the streets of Middletown Township.

On Tuesday, July 14 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Flyers Community Caravan will be traveling through neighborhoods with Gritty, DJ Reed Streets, in-arena host Andrea Helfrich, Flyers alumni, and the Flyers Ice Team.

The socially-distant event is to pump fans up for the hockey season.

Amid the pandemic, the NHL is finishing up a plan to begin playing with safety precautions in place.

The caravan will start at Maple Point Middle School on Langhorne-Yardley Road and travel through surrounding neighborhoods on a three-mile loop.

The Community Caravan has already visited Wildwood and is expected to stop at other Philadelphia-area towns this summer.

Middletown Township officials said some streets in the Maple Point, Laurel Oaks, and Highland Gate neighborhoods will have temporary no parking signs placed for the Tuesday event.
