“High-priority” bridge work will impact traffic on I-295 next week.
Starting Monday, July 13 and continuing through Friday, July 17 from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., a single lane closure in both directions will take place on I-295 in Middletown Township as crew repaint the Trenton Road bridge over the highway, PennDOT said in a statement.

The work is weather dependent.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time because backups and delays may occur.
PennDOT said they plan similar bridge work at future dates on the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridges over I-295 in Bristol Township.

Driscoll Construction Company Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the $33.9 million project that is federally funded and will be completed in 2023. The project includes bridge work on structures around the Philadelphia region.
