No Deaths, 41 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Over Three Days

Bucks County reported 41 fresh infections and zero COVID-19 deaths between Saturday and Monday.

The county health department reported 41 new infections – 10 on Saturday and 31 combined for Sunday and Monday – and received word of five cases that had delayed reporting and are no longer considered infections.

Look at the total of 46 cases, 20 were from household contacts, seven were residents or workers at long-term care facilities, five were travel-related or out-of-state exposures, four were due to community spread, two were infected in workplaces, one is a prison inmate, one was infected in a healthcare setting, and six were unable to be interviewed by contact tracers.

No new deaths of COVID-19 patients were reported.

As of Monday evening, 77 Bucks Countians with COVID-19 were in local hospitals and 12 were in critical condition on ventilators.

Since the pandemic began, the county has reported 5,255 confirmed cases, 502 deaths, 3,090 patients who have recovered.
