“Installing a new turf field is an added benefit to our already stellar athletic program, and we look forward to watching our student-athletes compete,” said Conwell-Egan Catholic High School Athletics Director Patrick Donlen. “Upgrading the turf is yet another enhancement to the CEC campus that improves the student experience and the community our school serves. Replacing the existing grass at CEC will benefit the community for years to come.โ
The current natural grass field is being replaced with aย Sprinturf system. The school moved toward synthetic turf after determining it would involve reducedย maintenance, consistent performance, and a source of pride.

The project will include newย perimeter fencing and updated landscaping along Wistar Road and Queen Anne Drive.

Construction is expected to be completed by September and be ready for fall sports.
