A Bristol Borough woman was charged following a Bristol Township police drug investigation from winter.

Rachel Marie Sayers, 38, was arraigned by District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. this week on two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and a single charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

Using an informant, Bristol Township officers watched as Sayers delivered methamphetamine after arraigning the deal via phone in advance in late January, police said.

Days later, Bristol Township police conducted a search warrant execution at a house in the 200 block of Mulberry Street in Bristol Borough. Sayer was inside the home at the time, according to court papers.

Police said they found items consistent with packaging of meth and also some of the drug inside the home.

Sayers, according to police, told investigators she would use a quarter ounce of meth per week. She also allegedly said she would sell about an eighth of an ounce a week.
