
Bucks County officials released Friday night that there were 31 additional COVID-19 cases reported.
The count included five cases of patients tested in Philadelphia but lived in Bucks County. The cases were so old that they were no longer considered active infections, the county said in a statement.

Of the 26 recent cases, 10 were spread through household contacts, six were from work contacts, four through community spread, three were residents of long-term care facilities, two from health care settings, and one from out-of-state exposure.
On Friday, two deaths were reported. One was a 63-year-old woman and the other was an 80-year-old man. Both had underlying health conditions.
As of Friday night, 95 Bucks Countians were in local hospitals with COVID-19 and 19 were on ventilators and in critical condition.

Since the pandemic began, Bucks County has reported 4,939 positive cases, 471 deaths, and 1,904 patients recovered.
