A man was taken by medical helicopter after he was cut from a truck that overturned in Falls Township.

Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said a tractor-trailer was dumping its load at the Fairless Landfill when it overturned.
Firefighters were called to the scene to cut the male driver free. From there, the man was transported by the Capital Health Ambulance Service with assistance from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to Quaker Penn Park where a medical helicopter flew him to a hospital in the city.
Dippolito said the man suffered back pain and had some numbness.

The Falls Township, Edgely, and Levittown No. 1 fire companies were at the scene.
