Harkins is accused of providing the drugs that that killed Matthew David Reiner, 27, of Levittown, on Friday, July 20, 2018 inside the Village Lodge motel on along Route 13 near Beaver Dam Road, court papers stated.
Harkins ended up at the motel after a trip with a group to Philadelphia to purchase drugs that were to be peddled. She sold Reiner drugs before leaving the motel, and the group left some of the illicit material in the room as they headed to the city again, police said.
Reiner’s overdose death was caused by a mix of fentanyl, acetyl-fentanyl, and amphetamine that were found in his system, police said.

Before his death, Reiner appeared to do heroin in the bathroom, a witness who was in the motel room told police.
The witness told police they fell asleep and awoke when the group returned from Philadelphia. Reiner was found to be deceased at that time, court papers stated.

In a police interview, Harkins told detectives she sold drugs to Reiner before his death.
Police allege that Harkins took unused drugs from the room after Reiner’s death.
“Matthew lived life to the fullest. He loved fishing and music and always dressed to the nines from head to toe,” Reiner’s obituary said.
