Officers were dispatched to an address on Durham Road for the report of a physical domestic in progress. Upon arrival of the officers, evidence of recent abuse was noted on the victim. The suspect – a 48-year-old man – was still on scene when the officers arrived. Statements from the victim as well as the injuries observed led to the arrest of the man for domestic-related assault.
March 4
Arrest
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no working license plate lights. The officer made contact with the driver and sole occupant – a 36-year-old man. During a records check of the man’s license status, an active warrant showed up. The warrant was confirmed and the man was arrested. He was released to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.

DUI
An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for the posted stop sign at Neshaminy and Rumph avenues. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers made contact with the driver and several occupants. While speaking to the driver – a 24-year-old man – officers could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The driver was asked to step from the vehicle to participate in field sobriety exercises. While speaking with the driver outside of the vehicle, the officers could still detect the order coming from him. The driver was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he was unable to complete. The driver was arrested for suspected DUI. Charges pending the outcome of lab testing. While speaking with the driver , another officer approached the vehicle from the passenger’s side and observed the passenger – a 23-year-old man – moving a clear glass container into a glove box. The officer who observed this behavior detained the passenger and retrieved the glass container. It contained a substance that appeared to be marijuana. The passenger admitted that the container contained suspected marijuana.ย The driver was arrested for the suspected DUI, failure to have a license, failure to stop at a stop sign, and possession of marijuana. The passenger was arrested for possession.
