The national unemployment rate for January also was up a tenth from December to 3.6 percent, but it dropped to 3.5 percent in February, according to theย U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The largest industry supersector gain was in construction, which rose to match a high set in January 2007.
In December, theย latest month that data was available, the unemployment rate in Bucks County was at 4.2 percent.
