Gov. Tom Wolf’s office said the grants are designed to reduce unnecessary student disciplinary actions and promote an environment of greater productivity, safety, and learning while also enhancing anti-violence efforts between schools and parents, local governments, law enforcement, and community organizations.

โ€œIโ€™m confident that this will aid in creating not only a safer, but more productive learning environment,”ย State Rep. John Galloway said of the funds.
