Woodbourne Road Reopens After Closure

After work week of traffic troubles due to Woodbourne Road’s closure, officials announced Saturday morning that the roadway had reopened.

Police thanked drivers for their patience over the past week when announcing the road had reopened in the area of SEPTA’s Woodbourne Station.

The closure was due to repair work on the rail line by CSX.

Woodbourne Road was blocked between Wood Lane and Maple Avenue (Route 213). The closure caused problems on nearby roads and added time to the morning commute for many.
