A Pennsylvania State Police trooper’s vehicle stop turned into a drug bust, according to court papers.
On Tuesday, a trooper stopped a 2012 Ford F-150 on I-95 southbound for a speeding violation in Bristol Township. While talking to the driver – identified as Chun Sing Lau, 39, of Fresh Meadows, New York – the trooper made several observations that made him believe something was amiss, state police said.

Lau refused to consent to a search and a Bristol Township police K-9 unit was called to the traffic stop.
State police said the dog sniffed the vehicle and alerted that there may have been drugs inside.
The F-150 was searched and six large cardboard boxes in the hardtop covered bed of the truck were found. Two boxes were opened and found to contain vacuum sealed packages of suspected marijuana. It was determined that between the six boxes, there were 266 pounds of suspected marijuana, state police said.

He was arraigned by on-call District Judge Daniel Baranoski Tuesday night and remanded to Bucks County lockup on 10 percent of $266,000 bail.
