The team of teens were escorted by police and firefighters as they arrived to the Levittown United Little League fields off Red Cedar Drive after 9 p.m. Cheer erupted as they proudly displayed their trophy and banner.

The state and regional softball champions were coming home from their series in Worcester, Massachusetts. The girls are next headed to the World Series in Delaware, Levittown United President Rick Palmer said.

The team is fundraising to offset the cost of travel and accommodations for the team.
