Instagram was used to identify a Philadelphia man accused of rape and robbery in Bristol Township, according to police.
In court papers filed this month in district court, Bristol Township police said they were called to the Venice Ashby neighborhood around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, for a report of a sexual assault at gunpoint inside a home of Lloyd Street. Upon arrival, officers met with a father and his 15-year-old daughter who said there was a home invasion-style robbery and sexual assault of the girl.

The girl went to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for a sexual assault exam, police said.
During an interview with detectives, the 15-year-old girl said she let her ex-boyfriend stay over her home after he was kicked out of his residence. He arrived with three men and one female teen who gave him a ride and they entered the girl’s home uninvited while demanding gas money.
The underage girl said a man with a rose tattoo on his neck – later identified as Kyle Lamar Black, 19, of Philadelphia – held a gun to her head and forced her to perform a sex act on him. She stated that the defendent cut her hair, poured milk and soda on her, and threw food and cigarette ashes on her while the female teen who arrived with the men punched her in the face and head, police said.

Black reportedly said out loud that if they kill the 15-year-old girl’s ex-boyfriend, they would have to kill her too.
During the incident, the 15-year-old girl’s $600 iPhone 8 was taken at gunpoint and they demanded her password, police said.
The girl’s ex-boyfriend knew Black by his Instagram username, which police said they used to identify him.

The female teen attacker – a 17-year-old Philadelphia girl who now has a warrant for robbery, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, and related offenses issued for her arrest – was also identified through Instagram.
Black was arraigned this week on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, robbery, conspiracy, sexual assault, and a number of related offenses. He was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility unable to the post $400,000 cash bail issues by on-call District Judge Michael Gallagher.
