Two people were critically hurt after a fuel tanker truck crashed and caught fire Thursday morning.
The two people who were injured were the driver and the passenger in the tanker truck that wrecked and caught fire on the Woodhaven Road ramp that leads to I-95 north. Traffic in both directions on the interstate was tied up due to the crash, according to 6abc and reports from the scene.

Firefighters were called to the crash around 10:15 a.m. Crews from Bensalem, Philadelphia, and the Levittown area rushed to the scene.
As the fire raged, additional crews were called, including tanker trucks from as far away as Wrightstown and Upper Makefield. The Bucks County Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team and the response team from Dow Chemical’s Bristol facility also responded.

The blaze was placed under control shortly before noon, but traffic remained jammed in the area as of 12:15 p.m.
