Repair work at the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority facility in Bristol Township caused a problem for many customers Thursday morning.
Residents in Levittown woke up to little or no water pressure due to the overnight repair work, according to an advisory from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority.

“When pressure has been restored you may notice a slight discoloration in your water due to the disturbance. We are unable to determine how long it will take to clear up as there are many factors involved,” the statement said.
A number of LevittownNow.com readers said the water service was back to normal by 8:30 a.m.
