A group of Pennsbury High School thespians returned from Nebraska after taking part in the International Thespian Festival earlier this summer.
The group of local teens from Thespian Troupe 830 represented Pennsylvania’s State Thespians as Chapter Select and performed their one-act performance of “Final Dress Rehearsal,” which received high marks earlier at the state thespian conference.

Prior to the festival in Lincoln, Nebraska, National Individual Events were held at Pennsbury Hugh School and the following students scored superior: Samantha Belinski, Robyn Kerachsky, and Emily Tazza. Roxy Geers was Pennsbury’ first national technical applicant.
Ngakiya Camara not only scored superior but received a perfect score from the adjudicators. Emily Tazza was honored to be among 25 individuals called back for further consideration of scholarship award of which nearly half fell into the technical category.
Pennsbury students have a long history of taking part in the International Thespian Festival, which draws teens from around the world.
