The Bristol Borough Education Fund recently awarded thousands to Bristol Borough School District programs.
At their March meeting, the group awarded $3,000 to drama club, $2,500 to writer’s voice, $1,000 for document cameras, and $750 for math night.

The Bristol Borough Education Fund has provided $72,963 in funding to educational programs in the borough school system since 2008. The fund was put together by the Grundy Foundation.
Former school district faculty Barb Olshefsky, Phil Quattrocchi, Deb Fine, and Ron Walker serve as advisors for the education fund. Superintendent Tom Shaffer serves as an ex-officio advisor.
Former advisor Bill Pezza retired from the fund earlier this year.

The fund is made possible through endowment growth, teacher payroll deductions, and various fundraisers.
