Dumpster Fire Causes Black Smoke Plume Over Middletown

A dumpster fire off Wheeler Way caused a large plume of thick black smoke to rise over Middletown Monday afternoon.

Firefighters rushed to the scene near a large warehouse in the 900 block around 2:20 p.m. and doused the flames quickly.
