Students said they walked into Harry S. Truman High School in Bristol Township Monday morning to find a chilly high school.
Several students and parents contacted LevittownNow.com to report the conditions. Students said jackets and sweatshirts were needed in the high school and it did not feel like the heat was working.

Bob Maloney, the operations director for the Bristol Township School District, told residents at Monday evening’s school board meeting that there was an issue with the heater. One igniter failed to start and provided insufficient heat for the high school.
Once the problem was realized, district staff started additional boilers and brought up the temperature, Maloney said.
Students were allowed to put on their jackets and sweatshirts to keep warm until the heat returned, district officials said.

A parent who was upset about the temperature lashed out at the board and told them to “eat a dick.” He also called them morons.
“That was great,” board member Jim Baker fired back while briefly arguing and laughing at the man.
