A woman in her 20s was flown to a hospital in Philadelphia following a serious two-vehicle wreck in Falls Township.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. at Woolston Drive and Lincoln Highway when a 1997 green Saturn driven by a woman in her mid- to late-20s was broad-sided by a 2015 white Honda carrying a 56-year-old male driver, his wife and 16-year-old son. The Saturn blew the red light and was struck by the Honda that was traveling northbound on Lincoln Highway, police said.

The woman in her 20s was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown before being flown by helicopter to University of Pennsylvania’s Presbyterian Hospital with internal injuries, police said.

The family in the Honda was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation.

Lt. Todd Pletnick said the woman behind the wheel of the Saturn had no identification with her but was driving a car registered to an address in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.  Officers went to the address this morning and no one answered the door.
