A New Jersey woman was arrested by Langhorne Borough police last week on drug-related offenses after they were summoned for a report of a topless woman.

Borough Chief of Police Steve Mawhinney wrote in court papers that he was dispatched at 10:41 a.m. last Friday for a topless woman on the roof of a carport in the 100 block of Maple Avenue. Upon arrival, the woman had her shirt on but was “excited and bouncing around” on the carport.

The chief said the woman – identified as Amanda S. Parson, 23, of Browns Mills, New Jersey – had a ladder up on the roof. He added that police instructed her to come down off the roof.

While Parson put something in her back pocket, Mawhinney said he watched heroin packets falling from the roof of the carport.

Parson eventually came down from the carport and police said they found numerous empty heroin packets and four hypodermic needles.

Parson was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arraigned by District Judge Daniel Baranoski and was sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $20,000 bail.
