SWAT Vehicles Seen In Levittown Used For Search Warrant

The SWAT vehicles seen driving through the Levittown area Wednesday were related to a search warrant being executed in Middletown, an official confirmed to LevittownNow.com.

Members of the South Central Emergency Response Team were called to assist as Bristol Township police served a search warrant off Zimmerman Lane, Middletown Chief Joseph Bartorilla said.

The chief said no arrests were made and deferred questions about the investigation to Bristol Township officials.

Police in Bristol Township did not release comment on the investigation.

It’s not uncommon for SWAT operators from area response teams to be called into action when officers and detectives serve arrest or search warrants at locations where their is a risk of serious incident.
