A Megan’s Law offender was taken into custody in Falls Township, authorities said.
Bensalem police reported that they received information about Richard Evans, 34, who has a warrant out for failure to register accurately as a Megan’s Law offender, on Friday. They contacted him via phone and discovered he was in Falls. Officers from Falls responded and took Evans into custody.

Evans pleaded guilty in 2015 indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old and endangering the welfare of a child, according to court records. The case was related to an incident in Morrisville Borough in 2014.
State records indicate Evans was last known to be homeless and living in Bensalem.
As of Monday morning, court records do list Evans’ arraignment.
