The westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bristol Township were closed Friday morning.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission said the closure is due to downed wires on the highway. A dump truck appeared to be involved in taking high-tension wires down not far from the Bristol-Oxford Valley Road overpass.

Turnpike officials urged drivers to take a detour to avoid the closure.
